Saint James Church, Fordham is at the corner of Jerome Avenue and 190th Street, one block north of Fordham Road and two blocks south of Kingsbridge Road in the Northwest Bronx.
It is very easy to reach Saint James Church by public transportation from almost anywhere in the Bronx or Manhattan.
* The #4 Jerome Avenue Subway line stop "Fordham Road" is on Jerome Avenue one block south of the church.
* The D Subway line stop "Fordham Road" is on the Grand Concourse, one long block south and three short blocks east of the church.
It's a beautiful, old, Gothic-style church, built in the early 1860s, with lovely Tiffany glass windows.
